Rich and creamy sensation on the palate; confirming aromas of exotic fruit (pineapple). Honey, toasted hazelnut and vanilla give a nice and smooth finishing touch.
Serve fresh but not cold, at 10°C. Our 1771 White matches well “Bouillabaisse of Marseille”, fish or scallops in a creamy sauce. It also accompanies deliciously foie gras or fresh goat cheese with honey.

Domaine La Yole

It is a dual varietal of Chardonnay and Dry Muscat.
The palate is smooth and creamy though very refreshing .
Serve at 10°C. It goes well with poultry, white meat or grilled fish, as well as various cheeses.

Domaine La Yole

Chardonnay and Viognier.
The palate is lively, crisp, fruity and reveals acidulous citrus fruit aromas.
Serve at about 10°C. Ideal accompaniment for sea food, shellfish, or grilled fish. Also great as aperitif.

Domaine La Yole

Terroir, grape varieties and winemaking: Blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault grown on clay and limestone soil, this rosé offer roundness and just the necessary sharpness. Night harvest and 100% destemmed grapes. The rosés are produced with a partial bleeding process following low skin contact maceration. Cold maceration to clarify the must, the alcoholic fermentation is made at low temperature to preserve a maximum level of flavours.

Domaine La Yole

A dual varietal of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The palate is round and lively at the same time. The impression of freshness gives rapidly way to a sensation of amplitude.
Serve at 10°C. Great choice for grilled pork with ginger, monkfish with peas, a « Gaspacho ».

Domaine La Yole

Jour d’été

Grenache and Cinsault.
These fruity flavours also dominate the mouth. This Rosé combines delicacy and freshness.
Serve between 8 and 10°C. Matches well raw vegetables, cold cuts or grilled meat. It can also be drunk simply as aperitif.

Domaine La Yole

Vin de caractère 18,90€

The combination of four varieties: majority of old vine Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the tradition of an exceptional Mediterranean terroir contribute to the uniqueness of this wine, aged for 15 months in barriques.
All its elegance and finesse is revealed after having been left to breathe in a carafe for some hours.
Best served at low room temperature (16 to 18 °C). Ideal with all kinds of game, roasted duck, partridge wild fowl, or strong cheeses. If you want to be innovative, try it on pan-fried foie gras.

Domaine La Yole

The three varieties composing this blend are Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.
Round and full palate, where the strength is counterbalanced by a nice freshness. The opening is sharp; the tannins are present but remarkably ripe.
Serve at room temperature and decanted. A perfect companion for authentic dishes like « Suprêmes de Bécasses », « Filet de bœuf aux Morilles », game, red meat and strong cheese such as Cantal or Roquefort.

Domaine La Yole

This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect result of traditional know-how and modern technology.
Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate. Tannins are present but very well built-in.
Serve between 17 and 19°C. It matches well with traditional food like « Potée Auvergnate », « Cassoulet », « Bœuf Bourguignon », lamb or strong cheese such as Roquefort.

Domaine La Yole

Jour d’été

Harmonious blend of Grenache noir and Cabernet-Sauvignon.
Destemmed harvest. A short pre-fermentation maceration, which contributes to harmonise the tannic structure, followed by a long fermentation on the skins with a daily pumping-over to get the best aromatic extraction.

This Cuvée shows a very nice ruby hue, underscored by purple reflections.

This wine is best served slightly chilled; it suites spicy world cuisine and goes well with barbecue, pizza or pasta.

Domaine La Yole

Our Carthagène is a blend of two grape varieties: Syrah and Alicante.
The unctuousness is perfect and held up by the same sensations perceived previously. It finishes on prune and pine kernel aromas.
Serve at 10°C. Carthagène is great as aperitif or a marvelous and surprising alternative on a dark chocolate dessert.

Domaine La Yole

Mademoiselle Elo

100% Black Grenache.
The palate is crisp and dynamic. The pear aromas and the residual sugar accentuate the suavity and fullness of the wine.
Serve at 10°C. You can drink this sweet wine as an aperitif. Delicious with sweet & sour dishes, or fruit desserts such as apple pie with cinnamon.

Domaine La Yole

This sweet wine is exclusively made from Muscat Petit Grain.
The palate brings an elegant taste with a sweet sensation, immediately followed by a creamy impression. Ginger bread, crystallized orange and honey notes amplify the pleasure when you drink that wine.
Serve at 10°C. You can drink this sweet wine as an aperitif. But it matches also very well « Foie Gras », or fruit based desserts like fresh fruit salad, fruit pie and sorbet.

Domaine La Yole

100% Muscat Petit Grain (small grape)
The mouth is round and full, nearly viscous. Aromas of marmalade and lantana add to those detected by the nose.
Serve at 10°C. You can drink this Muscat as an aperitif or on desserts.

Wine “créateur” since 1771

2 000 Years of trade

Roman relics found on Domaine La Yole estate provide the earliest evidence of both wine production and seafaring activities dating back to the birth of Christ.

The estate’s name illustrates the combination between sea-faring activities (a Yole being a small boat) and vineyard labour : Domaine La Yole.

A Trading Place located at the crossroads of Napoleonic commerical routes

Domaine La Yole’s history started in 1771,  with Domaine La Yole’s wine was already being known all over the region back then.

The French land registry demonstates that the vineyard’s wine cellars lied at the crossroads of major Napoleonic roads, in an area surrounded by pine trees…It was a meeting and commercial hotspot where people also used to drink wine : Domaine La Yole’s wine.

The winery's key figures

700.000 litres of wine are produced by 444.000 vine stocks planted on 1.100.000 m2 of argilo-calcareous-clay and sublittoral sands. 12 people, who work 20.000 hours per year, produce, market and sell 14 different wines to over 11.000 clients.
